This artwork was inspired by an unforgettable moment captured by Phillip Island Nature Parks on May 11, 2024—a night when the Penguin Parade got a dazzling surprise from the heavens! A stunning aurora lit up the sky, visible to the naked eye, making the night truly magical.
Since photos aren’t usually allowed at the Penguin Parade (this one was taken by an approved staff member), I couldn’t resist bringing this rare and extraordinary scene to life through my art. It’s my way of sharing a little piece of that magical night with you!
