Hi! I’m Liz Allen, the artist behind My Island Creations.
I specialise in creating digital watercolor-style art inspired by the soft, pastel skies and incredible wildlife of
Phillip Island.

From Phillip Island's iconic Little Penguins and adorable koalas to its cheeky kookaburras, I bring a touch of whimsy and warmth to Australia’s unique creatures, as I endeavour to capture the magic of the island’s natural beauty through my art.

In my retail space/art studio, I transform my art into a range of products, including premium art prints, postcards, t-shirts, mugs, coasters, jewelry, and more.

Behind the Art
“The "Penguins Under the Aurora" artwork above was inspired by an unforgettable moment captured by Phillip Island Nature Parks on May 11, 2024—a night when the Penguin Parade got a dazzling surprise from the heavens! A stunning aurora lit up the sky, visible to the naked eye, making the night truly magical. Since photos aren’t usually allowed at the Penguin Parade (this one was taken by an approved staff member), I couldn’t resist bringing this rare and extraordinary scene to life through my art. It’s my way of sharing a little piece of that magical night with you!” ​
